At Agbeloba, we are dedicated to empowering communities through sustainable agriculture, accessible resources, and cultural enrichment. Our mission is to nurture growth, build resilience, and foster a sense of belonging.
We believe in creating a world where everyone has access to nutritious food and opportunities for personal and community development.
Empowering our community with sustainable farming and locally grown, organic foods. Our roots run deep in cultural traditions.
Helping newcomers and families thrive with essential resources and guidance. We provide support for fresh starts and ensure all feel welcome.
Promoting diversity and collaboration through shared agricultural and cultural experiences. We believe in unity through diversity.
Educating and inspiring the next generation about sustainability, farming, and resilience. We nurture future leaders who will continue our mission.
Creating jobs, reducing environmental impacts, and keeping resources local. Our goal is a sustainable and thriving community where everyone can flourish.
On December 14, 2024, the Agbeloba Community Initiative Society (ACIS) proudly launched in Calgary, commemorating our commitment to empowering Alberta’s Black community through sustainable farming, cultural exchange, and community-focused initiatives. In partnership with Hanaf African Foods, this milestone event marked the beginning of a transformative journey toward connection, nourishment, and shared prosperity.
